Air Products A/S delivers membrane-based nitrogen generation solutions for maritime and offshore applications. The company was the first to commercialize fibre membrane systems for air separation on ships and offshore installations, with its first nitrogen generator installed on a ship in 1984 and the first offshore installation in 1985.

Air Products’ nitrogen production technology provides high-purity nitrogen while using less feed air than many competing systems, enabling local and cost-effective nitrogen production across multiple industries.

Air Products Norway has installed more than 1200 PRISM® membrane nitrogen plants for maritime applications and over 220 PRISM® membrane nitrogen plants for offshore installations. Systems are manufactured in Norway, and aftersales services, support, and assistance worldwide are managed from Norway, supported by agents and service centres globally.
