Founded in 1942, TEBUL has been designing and manufacturing self-closing watertight sliding bulkhead doors since 1961. The current self-closing watertight sliding door is the fourth generation.

The unit consists of a panel, frame, fully electric transmission mechanism, control device, and related cables. Primary self-closing relies on metal-to-metal contact with rubber seals for initial sealing, with sealing force increasing as pressure increases.

Tebul doors are approved for installation on A-60 bulkheads and are also available in Eex versions for explosion-risk areas. References include cruise ships, luxury yachts, ferries, icebreaking vessels, research vessels, and offshore vessels.

Doors are delivered fully tested, approved, certified, assembled, wired, and ready for immediate installation. After delivery, technicians are available worldwide for inspections, testing, commissioning, and sea trials when required.
