MARSIS designs and manufactures comprehensive fire protection systems for the global maritime market. Active since 2005, MARSIS is the first and only Turkish brand of external fire protection systems.

From 2011, the company expanded its range to include Water Mist Systems, covering low-pressure systems and local installations for engine rooms, vehicle areas, and automatic systems for accommodation spaces. In the same year, MARSIS started producing gas fire protection systems (NOVEC1230 and FM200) and fire detection and alarm systems supported by TYCO.

System components are partly manufactured by MARSIS and partly supplied by recognized industry companies for quality and reliability. Calculations and technical drawings are prepared in-house by experienced engineers in line with classification society rules and customer specifications. System design and supplied components are approved by naval classification societies.

Capabilities include 3D design, force analysis using the finite element method, flow analysis using the finite volume method, general system design and consultancy, integration and interface of components and systems, general layout drawings, pipe layout and equipment assembly drawings, item drawings and item technical datasheets, NPSH calculations, pressure loss calculations, flow calculations, water spray system design for vessel self-protection, water spray nozzle layout, control system design and engineering, electrical diagrams, and marine classification approvals.
